Ken Flower purchased Arizona Party Rental in 2003. Drawing on design, marketing, and corporate backgrounds, the company quickly transformed from a small local party rental entity to a family of locally-owned companies, becoming the largest full-service event services company in Southern Arizona. Recognized as one of Tucson’s great small-business success stories, Arizona Party Rental is an official partner of Arizona Athletics, The Tucson Festival of Books, Ronald McDonald House Charities, The Centurions, and handles over 1,000 local events annually. Ken is the President and "Chair-Man" of Southwest Events & Rentals, Inc., an Arizona corporation based in Tucson.
Ken graduated from Edgemont High School in Scarsdale, New York, received his B.A. from San Francisco State University and his Associate Arts degree from Menlo College in Atherton, CA. Ken worked for the Los Angeles Rams and the National Football League, before eventually founding a cellular telephone company and working in Hollywood on several motion pictures. Ken returned to San Francisco in 1987, where he began a 17-year corporate management and sales career in the world of broadcasting.
